In these second film, Ustaz Adam (Syamsul Yusof) has slowly accepted his destiny on his late wife, Maria and his late child. He continued his journey as a preacher in his own village and carried out his responsibility to help those who were possessed by demon or jin. Now, Ustaz Adam is always haunted about his late wife’s death in his dream and was often visited by a mysterious woman in black dress who questioned him about God's faith and destiny. At the same time, across the village lived a woman named Sakinah (Maya Karin) and her unwed daughter, Aina. Sakinah also needs to take care of her sick father who is suffering from mystery disease & was possessed by devil/jin. Her daughter also have been disturbed several times by the devil/jin too. Sakinah was so pressured that she had to approach a preacher, Ustaz Azhar (Mawi) from her own village to assist her family on religious treatment. Ustaz Azhar claims he has no capabilities to fight with the demon/jin by himself and he knows someone who can help her family. That’s where Ustaz Adam came into the picture. Sakinah believed this was done by Abuja (Nasir Bilal Khan), a 'munafik' [hypocrite] who wants to stir devoted Muslims faith towards Allah in her own village. Abuja gains a lot of his followers in the village. The villagers was too afraid to go against his teachings as they may be kill if they disobey his teaching. Sakinah who still holds Islam is the enemy of Abuja. With the arrival of Ustaz Adam to the village has caused Abuja to be mad with his interference to his followers. Ustaz Adam was not only surprised by Sakinah issue but also with the deviant teachings of Abuja who deflected the faith of the Muslims in the village. Why his late wife, Maria’s death keep haunting Ustaz Adam? Is there a meaning behind the dream? Will Ustaz Adam rescue Sakinah’s family from being possessed by the strong demon/jin? Will Ustaz Adam’s family be in danger since he is helping Sakinah? Who will the villagers support? Ustaz Adam or Abuja? Will Ustaz Adam survive this massive fight against Abuja? To find out all this answers. Seriously..go and watch the movie. It’s damn worth to watch. Highly recommended. It’s definitely scarier but it’s sad and disturbing. The movie too teaches us some knowledge of Al-Quran & life. trailer (Munafik 2):In case you missed “Munafik 1”, |
