So as you know (or may not know), there were alot of ongoing debate about this highly sought after henna powder. I had seen numerous videos on socmed so I was thankful to have the chance to use it. Believe me, I was curious to see what the hype was all about!

In this kit, there's...
- a mixing bottle with the application tip,
- a small funnel,
- 1 nail buffer,
- 5 sachets of henna powder

Firstly, I unscrew the bottle cap and placed the funnel in the bottle.

Next, I poured the powder through the funnel. Be mindful to pour a little bit of powder and tap the bottle. The powder should line up with Step 1. I was preoccupied with emptying the sachet that i went beyond Step 1 line (ooops!)

Next, I added tap water and since i poured too much powder, i filled the water slightly above the Step 2 line. Afterwhich, I cover the application tip with the rubber stopper and shaked the bottle.

First application, waiting to dry. I left it to dry for about 40 mins.

This is the result after 1st application. I would say that the tip of my fingernails were still visible through the henna.

So I went ahead to apply the second layer. It was much better. Overall, the process of applying this henna was like doing a mini experiment. Definitely needs patience and a steady hand. For someone who prefers dark brown henna, this is the henna for you. The colour was definitely new for me but interesting though.

Pros: I love the bottle with the application tip. It was easy to hold and I could easily guage how much product I want to use. The bottle was easy to wash. One sachet was alot for one person though. I had some henna paste left in the bottle after second application. The henna is 100% halal and solat/wudhu friendly. There were no unpleasant smell and it doesn't leave a stain on the skin.

Cons: Need to have PATIENCE.. .The pouring and mixing takes awhile. I lost count on how many times I had to shake the bottle. If the mixing wasn't thorough, there might be clumps at the bottom of the bottle.

Final Verdict

Yes! It's worth the hype!
