During Chinese New Year, Mandarin oranges must be exchanged. Giving mandarin oranges is a custom that has its roots in Southern China and is referred to in Cantonese as "song gam.". Coincidentally, it also means "giving gold," which the luck-obsessed Chinese have traditionally used as a symbol of blessing the recipient with prosperity and good wishes.

Amazing parks, gardens, hiking footpaths anywhere along coast, and reservoirs can be found in Singapore and are accessible to the general public for no charge. Nevertheless, there are several islands, nature preserves, hidden green spaces, and hiking routes to discover.

Numerous of these locations have animals that you might encounter. It's recommended that you keep your distance and proceed without communicating.

The best approach to balance exercise and quality time with family and acquaintances in Singapore is to explore the walking trails and embark on a tour. It gives an opportunity to discover areas of Singapore that you are unlikely to have the chance to see and to receive a first-person perspective of the city.
